Hello, Stranger is a story of one young man and woman who accidentally meet while on vacation in Seoul, South Korea. Both are travelling separately and eventually bond together after a funny encounter (With an agreement not to tell each other’s names to not make things complicated). The next thing they knew, they were already sharing rooms,gambling,drinking,dancing, talking about each others dreams and heartbreak. And, yeah just like any other rom-com, FALLING for each other.
The movie is sweet, funny and cute. Can I just say that I’m a sucker for serendipity/destiny themed story line?
Aside from their romantic moment that is their kiss in the snow, I also love the comedic parts. I love how they made references to some kdramas. And, man, their Bae Yong Joon spoof was really funny.
After watching this film, it made me wonder…where the heck is my beautiful stranger?
